The Terroir of Zinfandel Tasting and BBQ

Price: $15 for members, $21 for non-members.

The Zinfandels: Ridge Lytton Springs, Renwood Fiddletown, Peachy Canyon Paso Robles Eastside, Ravenswood Mendicino, Ravenswood Lodi, Cline Big Break, Dry Creek Vineyards Old Vine, and Sausal Alexander Valley. Quaffing wines to accompany dinner are likely to be Cline Zinfandel California, Renwood Zinfandel Sierra Series, and/or Bogle Old Vines Zinfandel.

Purpose: Join us for a delightful afternoon and evening outdoors in the Herdering’s beautiful garden tasting high-end Zinfandels from specific California locales. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to characterize the terroir of Zinfandel. This grueling special operation will be followed by a potluck BBQ (grills will be provided) so bring your favorite BBQ-oriented dish to eat and share!
